Sports gamblers always ask me for tips/picks when it comes to making NFL picks. I tell them, without any hesitation, that there is one key and one key only to making the best NFL picks. You not only have to know the game, but you have to be able to think outside the box. Too many bettors feel that they have the game cornered when in reality, they are just thinking about games the way that other people are thinking about them.
What does it mean to think outside the box with your NFL picks and college football picks? First and foremost, you have to be willing to go with your instincts and go against some of the conventional wisdom out there. This can be a difficult thing for some of the best sports bettors to master, as your mind will tell you to bet the obvious games in both NFL and college football. All too often with NFL picks, though, the obvious winners aren’t winners at all. They are big traps just waiting for you to fall into. Make sure you make the smart pick when betting at a sportsbook.
